2009 1 in 64 Post Tournament Rundown |

The 1 in 64 Pool Tournament was held at the Shark club from 1pm on the 7th of March. The numbers this good were good, with an outstanding number of top class pool players from throughout the Nelson area and also from the Westcoast. The competition began slowly with teething problems in the first round, but when these were all sorted out the whole tournament ran smoothly. This made it easier for the people running it to have an enjoyable day and experience some excellent pool. The semi final came down to some of the coolest heads in pool playing each other. The first semi was between last years defending champion Edward and Lester. The second semi was between Craig and Brian. After some really tense battles Edward and Craig emerged to meet in the final. The final was played over the best of 5 with Craig coming out on top 3 nil. Congratulations to Craig. Special Thanks. To all of the sponsors a special thanks. Without the great sponsorships we would not have been able to run such a successful tournament.
